Hi,
I have just noticed that the new version of LabVIEW that I upgraded to no longer has fields for adding or editing cases in the right click context menu of the event loop. I have not been able to find anything in the documentation that shows what happened to these fields or how I would go about adding cases. I am using LabVIEW version 9.0.1. I have attached a snapshot of the current menu.
Thanks
Michael

Looks like you might have the base version of LabVIEW. This version does not allow you to add/create new events. Help>About or the license manager will tell you the version.

Thanks Dennis,
I am working with my software purchasing person to see if there is a licensing issue. The reason that I did not suspect a licensing issue is that I can run LabVIEW 8.6.1 on the same systems and edit the event loop cases just fine. Has this functionality been removed from the base package recently?

It's never been part of the base package.
I'm not sure of your upgrade path. If your SSP had expired, then it's certainly possible that who ever did the ordering managed to upgrade from a full/pro version to a base version in order to save some money. Check the purchase order. Besides the help and license manager, I believe there was something on the box or inside that noted the version.
If you had never let the SSP expire, then you would have gotten an automatic free upgrade to 2009 (and 2009 SP1) that matches the licensed type of your older version.
