Error - Unable to locate variable in the Shared Variable Engine

Hi All,

We randomly receive following error at Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) with different shared variable names.
Error -1950679035 occurred at Shared Variable Write in STAND1.vi Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: (Hex 0x86660005) Unable to locate variable in the Shared Variable Engine. Deployment of this variable may have failed.
This warning occurred while writing \ \ My Computer \ STANDIDAU STANDI_PASS_NUMBER (\\ip address STANDIDAU STANDI_PASS_NUMBER)
Has anyone in the community have ever experienced exact error before? Please advise on this.
The DAU version is 8.5.

HI,

Just restart NI VARIABLE ENGINE in services

Do un deploy and deploy.

Hi Sridhar,

yes, we do restart NI VARIABLE ENGINE whenever this happens but we would like to know the root cause and permanent fix for the issue.
