Error -2558 with Open Data Storage vi? Help Please!

Hi everyone,

I am trying to open a .hpf file using the HPF plugin; however, I am getting a Error -2558... Not sure why? The file definitely exists.... Attached is my code (just to load/view the file).

Might the file be corrupt? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Regards,

Jack

Hi Jack,

Can you please also attach your hpf file?
We'll check whether the HPF plugin can read the file or not.

Thanks,

Mavis

Hi Mavis,

Please see attached... Thanks for taking the time to look.

NOTE: please change the .doc extension to .hpf (would not allow me to attach the file with the original extension).

Jack

Hi Mavis,

Thank you sooooo much for this... I have been able to open the file... I have other .hpf files with different number of channels etc... I will try them when back in the office to make sure that they open ok also...

Not sure if you are with NI or not, but the .hpf files I have are EMG data files obtained from using Delsys amplifers and EMGWorks DAQ software... Delsys use NI cards for their DAQ and their is a .emg plugin available to open EMG data from earlier versions of their software on the NI plugin page (I have used it previously)... So this is .hpf plugin is likely to be useful for other Delsys users.

Thanks again,

Jack
