BMP's are actully quite large and take up many Kilobytes from dataplans for individuals who are running off mobile devices. since they don't get paid to look at the data its kind of nice to save them the bytes. and post a useful file.
Not being on a dataplan myself right now: It seems like you are trying to open for editing a file that is open for editing by another application or in another vi.
