Error: 200983 - Current - Continuous Input SensorDAQ example

Hi all, running into an issue running the sample example. Things seem ok when I run it with logging mode set to 'off' but when I set it to 'log and read' I get an error: 

error -200983 which tells me that I can only get the specified property while the task is reserved, committed or while the task is running.

Attached is the base vi. I've tried doing what it says here:

but maybe I am not putting it in the right space. Tried probing but nothing.

Still being a complete amateur to LabView does not help..
