Hi Zepp,

Can you confirm if this is on your Windows system or a CVS.  If it is a CVS then you may want to look at this forum: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Machine-Vision/Why-do-I-get-Error-0xBFF60493-when-snapping-a-color-Image-fro....

Cheers,

Hi zepp2,

What model of camera is it and what mode is MAX set to?  Can you send a screenshot of your MAX set up?  This allows us to check if the settings you have are valid for the camera.

Hi Zepp,

Whats the actual error message that you get from MAX?  In LabVIEW this error is Invalid Video Mode, and normally this would be the same in MAX.  However from your screenshot it does all seem to be set to correct format for the camera and these modes have been tested by our vision team with that camera.

You mentioned this works on other systems.  Is anything different?  Im thinking driver versions, firewire cards, settings. Try saving your settings for the camera on the working PC and transferring it to the new one (right click on the camera and select save).

Hi Zepp,

Have you been able to compare your two systems to work out what the difference was?
