Enable the control of the timing of the imput

I got a program that enable me to control the opening of 8 valves manually. However, I need to automate the process and be able to key in the time that a valve will open automatically. Thus, Is there any function that allows the control of the timing that the input go into the main program or is there any other solution to the problem that I had. Thanks

I am already able to control the valves manually. But I need to improve the program to a state where I can just key in the time delay that i want the valves to open after I run the program automatically.
