Hi,
Can anyone suggest me good architecture /design for Emulator.
I am very new to Emulator designing.Any help will be really helpfull.

What are you emulating?
The more specific you make your question, the more likely that you will receive a productive and useful answer.

We are trying to emulate controller which is used for different analog/digitel ,high speed counter.
But we are very new to this field.

You are still not being very specific.
What kind of DAQ device? Analog/digital input or output? How many channels? How fast? What resolution? What is the maximum input frequency to the counter?
What else does the controller do? Does it analyze or process data inputs? Does it calculate and generate outputs? Does it interact with a human operator? Does it save data to a file?
And about a thousand more questions?

When you make an emulator, there is some physical hardware that you are trying to virtually replicate.
Can you give us an example of some hardware you would like to emulate?

Well I need to emulate controller with CAN transreceiver.
the controller will be connected to remote I/0 and traditional I/O.
The I/O are nothing but some sensors and actuators.
I need to basically design the emulator. Can anyone guide me what architure or model I should follow for the same.
