Editing example code in NXG

So in LabVIEW2017 I have been able to pull up example code written by test instrument vendors such as Keysight. I can run their code and dive into any subVI that is used in the main program. I can also edit the subVIs accordingly.

Now that I have switched over to NXG I have noticed that I can not edit subVIs from example code anymore. I can edit the main VI by moving wires around, adding indicators, changing constants etc. But once I try to edit a SubVI my only options on wires is to add a probe. I can not move wires around (only pan the diagram) and I am not sure why? Its almost as if SubVIs are read only in NXG.

Can anyone help? Thank you!

Hello rgutie,

As far as I understand there is an issue with regard to the third-party Vi's compatibility with LabVIEW NXG? Or this is an issue with the example codes from NXG?
