Edit Text in Word Report Footer

I have a Word Template I'm using with the Report Gen Toolkit.  The reason I'm using a template is I need an image in the footer.  However, I want to go in and do a search and replace on a text string in the footer.  Has anyone tried this/accomplished it?  Thanks!!

I didn't try to use the find and replace vi but I was able to modify the footer text by using the Insert field advance vi. In the attached snippet  "myfooter " is the name of the bookmark I used in my Word template and the text control is used to enter the new text. Hope it help.

i was actually able to solve this by setting where i wanted to edit in my template as a bookmark, and wired a constant to the MS Office Parameters terminal of Append Report Text vi.  I put the bookmark name in the parameters, and it worked perfect.

As a side note, i'd to be able to to programmatically setup the footer, but since i need to put in an image, this might be a little sticky.  thanks for the help though.  i'm going to check out your code ....
