Did you mean:

During an application build I got "error 1 occurred at RdWfm 7d20.vi:\" It works fine for Labview 5.1.1

I have built a stand alone application for 5.1.1 without any problem. I am now trying to upgrade to version 6.0. The original version would not build under 6.0 until I changed a vi name. After doing this, I tried to build it and got the above error during the build process.

I need to know what to modify to build it to the next level or do I stay at 5.1.1 for this application forever?

Hello,

I have never seen this problem before...it's particularly strange that there is a slash in the VI name that you are trying to build. Is there any way you could attach a VI to this post that demonstrates the problem? That way I can reproduce the problem here, and possibly find a workaround.

Thanks for your patience on this issue, and have a pleasant day.

To me it seems that LabVIEW have some problems to reconstruct the correct
path to your file e.g. the file name looks like a drive letter. Sometimes it
helps to reconstruct your project build file from scratch, especially if the
build file was converted from 5.1.1.

I hope this helps.
