Drop down Port menu does not work in Runtime Environment

The port menu in this vi works fine on my development machine but for some reason it will not let me select the com port from the drop down menu when I run it on a different machine that only has the runtime environment installed. I have tryed it on four machines now. All have WinXP and the latest runtime environment. Does anyone know if there is anything else I need for these machines or if I need to setup something?

Thanks

Did you create an installer? You should slec this option and then click the Advanced button. Check the Serial Port Support and the the installer will include a small VISA run-time engine that will only support serial port communication.

It works now! Thanks for pointing me to the installer. However, now it doesn't give the names of the com ports such as Com1, Com2, instead it gives ASLR1 and ASLR10. Is there a way to change it so that the traditional names show up?

Thanks
