Hello all!
I'd like to know how can I draw and visualize a cylinder in LabVIEW and change the color of its surface regions.
In the future, I'd like to represent in this virtual cylinder the response from a sensor array positioned around a real cylinder.
I've already read about this subject on the forum but couldn't find a good answer/help. The closest link to my subject that I could find was the following one:
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=232&message.id=4145&query.id=138742#M4145
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards!

My version is Labview 8.6
My sensor array will be interrogated by USB and I2C and not by a DAQ device. Does this method also applies in my case?
If I don't have a Stereolitography or a VRML file with my cylinder how can I draw one here?
Can you provide a simple example from where I could start my implementation?
Thank you very much!
Best regards!
