Double scroll mouse in LabVIEW

Has anybody managed to use a double scroll mouse in LabVIEW and scroll the diagram also horizontally? If so, what kind?
I've tried several models but only vertical scrolling worked.

Thanks,

Alberto

I know this is not what you are looking for but for what its worth... If you place the mouse over the horizontal scrollbar and use your scroll wheel, it will scroll horizontally. Otherwise, don't forget about the hand icon that will allow you to grab anywhere on the diagram and pull in any direction.

Hello

I have another problem related to scrolling with the wheel of the mouse. I don't want to scroll the front panel window, but rather the control itself. In my case I use a (multicolumn) listbox control with a vertical scrollbar.

When I use the mouse wheel, only the whole front panel is scrolling, but not my control, even if I have to focus on it. Is there a way to use the mouse wheel for scrolling my listbox. Did I miss any property or do I have to program?

Kind regards
David

Hello David,

It looks like you might have to program it - however, someone has already done it for you!  Take a look at this discussion forum.

However, I was able to do this by just dropping a listbox control.  It should recognize the mouse wheel when the focus is on the control.  Make sure you have Autosize Row Height unchecked to enable the scrollbar.

Happy Holidays!

HI, HERE THE STEPS FOR DAVID,

1. Go to file
2. Vi Properties
3. Window appearance
4. Customize
5. Uncheck Show scroll bars

On the other hand, I'm working with the mouse scroll wheel to take control over one motor, when it is necessary to drive the motor to home, do you know, how assign values to scroll control? I hope you understand me, thank you

You can read the mouse scroll button, but not with great accuracy. Have a look here.
