Does anyone one have experience programing QuickSilver motor products (i.e. SilverMax or SilverNugget)?

I am trying to program a QuickSilver/SilverMax motor arm using LabView7.1. I am having problems inputting multiple string constants. When I use concatenate strings, the motor only responds to the first command a neglects the others. I am using a carriage return, put perhaps I am still missing some element specific to the SilverMax (delay?). If anyone has experience with these products please respond. Thanks.

I used SilverMax 34HC.
After send a command strings with a carriage return,
you need a delay(like 25 ms),then read the response.
Then you can send next command strings.

i think i'm using those exact motors too, but it could be 34C or 36C.  i don't have know what strings i'm supposed to enter into the VI.  I ran the silvermax program that came with the motors and had it log is ASCII into a file.  i copied the first TX command line as my 'write' string but i'm not gettign any response, any suggestions?  thanks.

Hi Fruitworks,

If there is not a response here, I would also like to suggest creating a new thread on this topic.  This thread has not been posted on in some time, and by creating a new thread, it would be more likely for others to jump in to help with this problem.  I hope this helps.
