Distributing an application

Hi

I have this vi which is written in LabView7.1 and it uses couple of features from IMAQ vision 7.1.1 ( Vision Development Module).Now I need to give this vi to a friend of mine , he has Labview 8.2 , but does not have vision development module.Is there anyway , he can run this vi (that uses vision develpment functions) without vision development module ?

      If you'd like to run your VI in LabVIEW on the other computer, they just need to have the Vision Development Module. You can download this and use it for a trial 30 days.  For LabVIEW 8.2 get Vision Development Module 8.2.1. It is in the current section of Drivers and Updates on our website. If you'd like to distribute this application, meaning you build a stand alone executable, you'll need to get the Deployment Module for 7.1.1  This will allow you to distribute Vision with your application.
