Distribute application without labview run-time engine

Solved!

I think it's not the version problem. I tried the same on another PC with same Run-Time engine and it works for the application which doesn't include the run-time engine in the installer. Something corrupts in that PC. Any suggestion on how to fix it? For example, remove all the run-time engines?

In that case, yes, you might want to try removing all NI software and then reinstalling only what you need. I haven't seen this problem before and can't recommend a definite fix.

But I repaired the Run-Time Engine 2011 SP1 on that PC yesterday and now it's not shown on the NI software list, how should I remove it?

And even if you reinstall that run-time engine, it still doesn't show up?

Can you try uninstalling ALL NI components?

Also, search this forum for "msiblast" which can help remove programs. Note: I have never used this tool, I've just seen it referenced in other discussions on this board.

I tried the reinstall but the installation just show nothing to install since it's already installed.

I didn't try to remove the other component yet since it's quite a huge installation. I will try to search the one you suggest.

After I remove the Run-time engine 2011 SP1 and reinstall it, the problem is gone. So something is really corrupt with run-time engine.
