Hello, I have a problem with the hypertrend cursor. I have an app that calls a VI with a hypertrend, to see historical graphs. When you close this VI, it returns to the rest of the app. The problem occurs when you close the VI containing the hypertrend with the cursor activated. If you open the hypertrend again, it has the cursor activated but you can't use it.
I think the solution could be to disable the cursor programmatically at the end of the VI, but i can't find the correct property.
Thank you.

Hello tharos,
There is no property for enabling r disabling cursors in these ActiveX controls so you must find another possibility. Did you try to close the objet reference before live the VI? (using the "close reference.vi)
In addition, do you close the subVI or you just hide the front panel? can you attach a simple example of how do you return to the rest of your app?

Hello sendia
I close the hypertrend referece before ending the VI. To return to the main app I close the Front Panel and let the VI to reach the end of the execution. If I run this VI independently the behavior is the same.

There is nothing about that in LV 8.6.1 (no bugs) but I can try to reproduce your behavior in my computer. Can you attach a simple example?

Sorry, I have been on a trip.
This is an example. I think the problem is that the cursor window remain opened and hidden, and it can't be closed.

Control was not programmed considering you can stop the code while modal windows from control are opened. In one way you can remove cursors is to access control properties (right-click>>Properties…) and press APPLY or just OK.

Thank you. It's not the best solution, but it allow to remove the cursors without closing the app.
