Delete an USB device

I manage several USB Devices with a Labview application under windows XP. I would like from this application delete the device properly before to turn it off. how is it possible?

I don't know of anything native to LabVIEW that will turn the USB devices off like you would like. I imagine there is a Window�s SDK call, or some dlls out there that do turn off or delete the devices. If you can find those dlls you could use a Call Library Function Node in LabVIEW to call the code.

I did some more searching. Take a look at this discussion of stopping card socket devices. I am assuming that the same theory applies to USB devices.

There is nothing native in labview to turn off an usb device (anwser from Ni). I'm sure that threre is a dll in windows to do this ant that i can call it. The question is which Dll and wich function of this. And how to find this
