Dead pixels finding with NI Vision

Hi to all,

I am new using the NI Vision Assistant environment and I am not very sure how much it is possible to do with it.

I am trying to do a search for dead pixels on a LCD from a picture taken of the same with NI Vision Assistant but I had found some similar posts in the NI Community that suggest to do this with LabView instead so I ask the following:

This is because NI Vision Assistant is not that powerful to perform such operation or because it is easier to do it with Labview?

I also take the opportunity to ask you if this is possible to do with LabWindows CVI?
