Datasocket Problem

Definetely think its a network issue...Make sure you don't have Windows Firewall running, that will block the socket connections.

I tried my program on another network and it worked ok. I can't find out what's blocking it on my LAN though? I have tried it with Windows Firewall turned off on both machines and I don't have any luck. The client app is reporting Error 54 - illformed network address. I get this if I use the hostname of my PC. If I try the IP address I get error -2147014831 (undefined).

I can't understand what I need to change on my computer or my router to allow DataSocket communications? I've had this working before. Can anyone help?
