Hello all!
I'm busy doing my report.
Now I'm going to explain all the different types of data that Labview posses.
I want to know if I'm missing some, please check my attachment.
Thanks in advance,
Koen
EDIT: Forgot Digital data

Hi Koen,
- Complex numbers? SGL vs. DBL vs EXT?
- Unsigned integers? 8, 16, 32, 64 bits?
- When showing DAQmx tasks: why not show all those other DAQmx references? What about VISA references?
- An "object" can be anything, I wouldn't count it as "datatype" (in a more strict sense)...
- Arrays can have any number of dimension, so why do you show only 1D/2D arrays? Or. why do you show arrays of other datatypes?
- A Cluster is also just a container for other datatypes...
The LabVIEW help has a table showing all the datatypes, why not print out that help?

Hi GerdW,
Thank you for your quick reply!
Answers:

Wasn't really necessary to show, I am just going to explain them in my report. They have no different wire.

I don't work with VISA, anyway it's good idea to add DAQmx references!

Yes that's probably true, I maybe just delete that one

Just to show how the wires and symbols change, isn't necessary to show them with higher dimension sizes.
I show them for other dataypes because in some instances the wires change different i.e. DBLs and references
- A Cluster is also just a container for other datatypes...
True, though I can show how it looks like. Maybe data types wasn't the correct word

I'm not able to find them ![]()
