Data Acquisition

Dear all,

My company just purchased a Developer Suit. The main purpose of buying the software is to record all the data from WAGO PLC.

I have Codesys software to programme the PLC. What i need from Labview is recording the pressure, temperature, etc from WAGO PLC.

I am new to NI and never done anything like this before.

Can anyone please tell me where should i start?

The very first thing, after installing LabVIEW onto a computer, is to start LabVIEW and then go through the tutorials. LabVIEW is a full featured programming language and what you want to do is moderately advanced. The other possibility is to look for an Alliance member company in your area to bring in to assist you or actually do the project. I'm not familiar with the Wago PLC's but have done similar tasks with Allen Bradley/Rockwell ones and the methods require a bit of knowledge about labVIEW as well as the software interface to the PLC.
