We have been kicking this one around for so long it is almost as ancient as the "undo" option became before it was implemented! We will serve no feature before it's time! I just thought I would plug it once again!

It's on my radar now...maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel now? 😉

Darren,
If you are that light. Good Luck!!
If you aren't the light then look out for that light traveling at you at high speed!
The blog post made a lot of sense, and I do remember it having read it when posted. However, this plug-in architecture would only make sense and be useful if NI allowed scripting of LV!!! That has moved from tacit acceptance to outright denial. Dan's "Tunnel Wizard" is the sort of thing you would automate like that! But now it is impossible to do that.

Dany. wrote:I have a wish for the Insert menu. Since you are the father of Quick Drop, in future version of LabVIEW it could be nice that QD be available to insert object and even to replace object.
Hi Dany,
I predicted that somebody would post this exact request when I wrote this nugget. I agree that it would be *awesome* to have Quick Drop be an option in the Insert and Replace menus. I'll try to find some time to investigate this feature soon...maybe we'll see it in a future LabVIEW version?
