I really like class property nodes, and I am not aware of any bugs that would cause me to use accessor VIs instead. I just tried reading/writing a strict typedef in my class data via property nodes and it worked fine. If you have any CAR numbers for the bugs you encountered, we can check their status to be sure.

As Darren said, do you have CAR numbers for any of the behavior? I just tested accessing a private type def enum via property node and it worked fine, the data was still associated with the typedef. That test was in 2012 SP1.

Please let me know if you have any other specific bugs. It is possible we are not aware of them or they have been fixed.
