DSC logs data but not alarms

Hello,

I am running labview 8.5 with the DSC module and can not access alarm data.  When I enter MAX and try to export alarm and event data, I get a message stating that citadel is not configured as a relational database.  How does one configure the database?

Alarms and events are configured to be logged on the specific shared variable as well as in the library.  Again, the shared variable values are logged and can successfully be exported.

Hi Mark,

According to this forum post, MSSQLServer might've not been properly installed. Double check and make sure that there is an icon in your task tray that looks like a server machine or a gray box with a little status icon. If it isn't already running - denoted by a green PLAY button, double click on the icon and press Start/Continue.

LabVIEW 8.5 DSC CD includes a copy of Microsoft's SQL Server Desktop Engine.
