DSC OPC Connection Error

I'm currently using the DSC module version 8.5 on a Visa OS and I always get this error code 0x0000002A on the front panel controls, which are linked to shared variables.  The shared variables are binded to tags from an OPC Client I/O Server. I've tried configuring the OPC Client to register for not only the NI OPC Server but aslo the KepWare Server but both had the same connection problem. I don't know what I'm doing wrong as I still always get the error code along with the small red broken connection LED on all of the controls.

Sorry to hear that the shared variables don't seem to be connecting.  I have a few questions to narrow down the cause of the error:

Is there a message associated with error 0x0000002A at all? 

Are the server and client variables listed in Variable Manager?

Under the OPC Client I/O Server Properties, are diagnostics enabled?  This can cause slow response times but may provide more details.
