DIO ports

Hello,

I am not sure of doing right.
I Have a PCI6251 DAQ card and I am wondering how to best use the DIO ports, I may need a kind of tutorial,
I am not sure to understand the difference between PO PFI/P1 PFI/P2 RTSI, etc ...
Now my ail is to generate a 10 Hz signal like an edge with a good precision (is the best 50 ppm of 100 ms then, or can it be better ?) and be able to interrupt it.

Thank for your help

If you are trying to generate a square wave, you would be much better off using the Counters on the DAQ card rather than the DIO lines.

Look in the Examples that ship with LabVIEW, (Help Menu>Find Examples) and search for Counter. You should several examples to help you get started.

Post back here if you need anything else.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.
