Hi Andrew,

I am doing single one dimension scan only. So, I do not see why I would need "for loop". However, this whole one dimensional fly scan code would be subvi of another code who would do 2 dimensional scan and that certainly would use for loop.

When I refer to "hardware timed" I am referring to the onboard clock of the data acquisition device.  To address your question, "What do you mean by '2us'?":

1 / (rate) = 1 / (500kHz) = 2 microseconds (us)
