DAQ assistant

I would like to use DAQ assistant for sine signal generation. when i use DAQ assistant and drop it in block diagram. after initialization of this assistant, when i select analog output (current or voltage). this assistant does not detect/find the hardware board.
i am using AT-MIO-16XE-50. why it is like this?
Thanks

The best way to attack this problem is to open up MAX(measurement and automation explorer) In this applicaiton you can verify if you board is properly installed and is working. You can test the functionality of the board also. Once you have verified that it has been configured correctly then try and use the daq assistant. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.
i already did this MAX. it works very fine there. i configured the board in MAX and it was board was detected there. not only in MAX, also when i use simple A0 analog VIS and write signal to board. i can write it there but this problem is only with this DAQ assistant. is there VI missing or any bug in the DAQ assistant? regards

I am not sure if I am right here but does AT mean that it is an ISA board instead of a PCI? If so ISA boards are not supported under the daqmx umbrella. You CAN us traditional daq (before LV7). This should work fine with your card. hope this helps.
