DAQ assistant cannot be found

Hi guys,

I'm having problem finding the DAQ assistant express IV in my Labview. The labview i'm using is 8.5 and the driver i installed for my DAQmx USB 6210 is ver 8.6.0f6. I can test my DAQmx in the MAX, but i'm unable to find and use that DAQ assistant in my labview. I've tried finding under Express>>Inputs and also Measurement>> , it is not in both place.

What should i do now?

Hi Chai0036,

In LabVIEW, you should see the DAQmx vi's and DAQ Assistant by going to the Functions Palette » Measurement I/O » NI-DAQmx.  If you don't see the DAQmx palette, it is likely that you installed the driver prior to installing LabVIEW.  For the palette to be installed correctly, you need to install the driver after you install your Application Development Enviorment (ADE).  The easiest way to fix this is to repair the driver and ensure that it installs support for LabVIEW 8.5.  Please let me know if this doesn't fix the problem.
