Customizing LabVIEW

Is it possible to create an icon link inside of LabVIEW that will access a
group of personal vi's? ANd is it possible, when LabView searches its' vi's
that it can search personal vi's at the same time?

Under edit -> edit control & function palettes

If you mean adding to the controls and tools palettes - it's documented in
chapter 7 of the G Programming Reference Manual under "Customizing the Controls
and Functions Palette". The info is also in the online reference.
