Creating I/O server to OPC problem

When creating an I/O server to connect to OPC tags I crah LabView (11) when I set the Update Rate (100).

The message says that one must specify an Attribute to ProgID. I don't know what it means as they don't talk about this in the procedure "Connect LabVIEW to Any PLC using OPC"

Can anybody help? We are in great stress with this. Thank you.

Can you give some more information about which OPC server you're trying to communicate with?

What do you exactly mean with crashing LabVIEW?

Do you get an error dialog/code?

Based on your explanation it seems that you're getting an error dialog (with an error code) instead of a crash.

Can you provide me with a screenshot of the message you get?
