Hey everybody:
The attached VI seems to work okay, but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for improvements.
It's in LabView 2011 with MS Office Report toolkit, using MS Word 2007.
It reads in a Word document as a report, attaches a Word macro to the document, executes the macro, then closes the report.
The macro just saves the file as a PDF with the same file name +.pdf.
I don't know much about Word macro programming, so there may be some room for improvement there.
Thanks for your insight.

Excellent! When I saw this question pop up I remembered that very thread but couldn't find it.

I didn't like the previous solutions because they requre third-party software (in some cases, you have to pay for)... and some of them have difficulty because the PDF software requires user input.
I like this solution better because (1) it's super-simple (2) doesn't require additional software (3) lets you set the PDF file name programmatically without user input so the whole process is completely automated.
