Conversion of code

Could someone please convert the files in this zip file to either Labview 5.1 or 6.0.2 or both if possible?

They currently require 6.1 to run.

Thanks

Thanks a lot

Why is it that no-one seems to be able to convert files to LV5? Is there some sort of conflict that exists, or is LV5 just really buggy? LV6 is fine though, I just need to be able to look at the block diagram!!! 🙂

Thanks again

Not so much buggy as just old. The only vrsion of LabVIEW that can save to LV5 is LabVIEW 6.0 so in order to convert a 6.1 program, you have to find someone who had upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1 and kept the old version. You also have the problem of having new features and functions that can't be converted.

I should have been more clear.
If I use LV6 to convert these VIs to LV5, LV6 crashes with the following code:

Failure: "undo.cpp", line 3075
LabVIEW Version 6.0.2
For assistance ... (etc) ...

So... Yes, there seems to be a real bug but I don't know what the conflict is. Somebody from NI might remember this or you can search the KB here.

It's probably possible to do a few minor changes to the VI to get around this, but I wouldn't know where to start.
