Controlling a Roper Scientific CCD COntroller with Labview 6.1

I am trying to control a Roper CCD controller ST-133 with Labview. Roper sent some preprogrammed VI's for this device but they do not work. I need to know what functions(VISA..etc) do I use to communicate with this PCI interfaced device. I can acquire images with other software but not with labview. I am not sure where to begin to program my own VI. I have very limited experience with Labview.

According to your conditions, i advise you directly call ActiveX drivers or *.dll library which should be provided by Roper using CALL EXTERNAL CODE FUNCTIONS provided with Labview 6.i. Namely you best produce some vi's (drivers) for a Roper CCD controller.
