Connecting an Encoder to the PXI6602 module

I just recently got an encoder from Servo-tek which is capable of X1, X2
and X4 encoding because it has two channels A & B.

I need to know how I can wire the A&B wires from the encoder so that It can

allow for different modes of encoding.

If you could please guide me on how I go about connecting the wires to the
PXI-6602 board, I will really appreciate it.

Thanks

Omoghene.

Hello,

To wire this device read this

http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=40&message.id=2109

Wiring does not change for different modes of decoding. You must select the X1, X2 or X4 decoding when you configure the channel or task. Of course, the decoding selected must match the incoming signal to get an accurate distance or angle measurment.
