Configuring FPGA is not available

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello.

I `m trying to build Labview program with FPGA device (myRio).

So I started configuring FPGA, but

FPGA configuring.JPG

like this picture, when I open configuring window, everything is disabled except bitfile option.

How can I build specification in this window? Is there something needed more?

PS) Its my first time to try FPGA programming, so I want to know about bitfile briefly.

Always thank you for your kind answering.

Hi sdrcat,

the first step is to create a LabVIEW project with an additional hardware target (your myRIO).

Did you create this?

Have you installed all the needed software (RT module, FPGA module, myRIO module)?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hello, Sir.

Firstly, thank you for your advise.

Of course, I installed all of them that you mentioned.

(Labview starts with the title "myRio toolkit".)

Then how can I activate that VI?

Hi sdr,

please show/attach your project file…

Have you tried any of the myRIO example projects? Do they work as expected?

Best regards,
GerdW
