Hi,
since LV5.1 there is a set of instruments to control Sound Card. They are located in "Functions->Graphics&Sound->Sound" palette. They are practically identical to DAQ VIs and allow you to config and control both sound input and output. You can save and read data not only as numeric arrays but also in WAV format. If you have full duplex sound card you can realize simultaneous input and output.
