Not able to configure CAN ports with PXI 8531 for NI CAN.
Tried with NI MAX no option for configuring port.
Not able to read certain COB ids for PDO data.
Can we use PXI8531 for basic CAN interface or needed any external interface to configure?

PXI-8531 does not use the NI-XNET driver but NI-Industrial Communications for CANopen.
You cannot use it for basic CAN communication with DBC database file.
The importation of the EDS file is done via the utility in LabVIEW. See Using EDS Files With NI-IndCom for CANopen
