So after learning a LOT in this thread, I went back to the support pages and am now reading some really cool design paterns - both for digital logic and just labview. I had previously taken the approach of using the tools I know to make my aplpication work but I'm enjoying this learning curve. Got a few weeks to finish the programming on my application but I have a very strong vision of where I'm heading.
