Colorful Decorations

How can I draw colorful edges on decorations that are placed on the front panel. In the attached vi, look on the front panel and you will know what I am talking about.

When selecting the color, hit the space bar to switch between bordor color, fill color and both.

Look in the Decorations palette. Use the flat box, set the foreground color for the border.

I can find anything related to changing the color still. I find the flat boz in the decorations palette but nothing fro the color. Also, I was trying selecting the flat box and putting it on the front panel and clicking the right click, but all it says is ORIGINAL SIZE or SCALE OBJECT WITH PANE.

You need to change to the paint brush tool first.

Now, I am able to paint the flat box but still not the edges of the box. Is there anything else I am missing?

That's where you need ot follow altenbach's advice.  If you use the spacebar in the color picker pop-up window, you can paint the foreground color, backgroung color, or both.  You can also use "f" to select foreground and "b" for background.  The trim is the foreground color.
