Citadel database

I have 2 question about this database:

1. Can I open this database with DSC(NI DB Tools Open connection) ? Or I must alwasy use "Open trace"?

2.How can I "manage" citadel database with SQL query? can be this done trough "NI DB Tools Execute" and SQL query?

What I wan to do is to read just some values from database and than with SQL query, calcculate omme values...

It should be possible through ODBC driver. DSC Run-Time should be installed, then you can use DB Tools from Database Toolkit.
