Changing one DIO port on NI USB- 6008.

Hello!!

I have a problem whit changing just one Digital outport on my USB- 6008. I have looked on the examples, but they show a update of 8 ports using binary translation. This makes it much more difficult because I dont want to have to trouble looking at the other 7 ports or setting them.

How should I do?
Please give me an example!

Hi Krille,

here is an example. The DAQmx Base Write To Line sub-VI writes a specified state to a single line preserving the previous values of all other lines on the port.

Do you, by chance, have a vi similar to this for inputs? I am having the same problem, and am unable to modify the VI in a way as to make it work..

i´m not sure understand you right. But why do you want to do that ?
What is the disadvantage of your application if you´re reading the complete port with an example shipped with Daqmx Base drivers ( i.e. Read Dig Port.vi ) ?
