Changing Systems

I'm fairly new with labview, but have written a program for testing hardware
in rectifiers...
I'm using LabView 5

My question is, while it is on my computer, the whole program runs
perfectly, as expected...
But when I transfer it to another computer, via WinZip, I try and run the
program again, and it doesn't work... The font size's are different, the
Com Port VI's that I've designed don't run properly within the program, ie
they run as stand alone VI's and work, but while they are in the program,
they don't run properly...

Has anyone else had this problem, because, I've got no idea what to do! So
any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance

In my experience,it's hard to pass a program from development computer to another one and mantain all things the same, but you can try this:
Use standard fonts, or fonts you know will be in the computer you are going to use.
Be sure about using the same scren resolution in both systems.
Not sure about this, but i think there's something to do with ini files when you use standalone LV programs when you want to use fonts other than default ones. Perhaps using the same ini file for LabVIEW (labview.ini) and for your app (appname.ini in the appname.exe directory) can help.
Finally, be sure the port configuration is the same, else, things can go strange.
Hope this gives you some clues...

If you mean with LV runtime engine, i think yes, just copy the labview ini where the lvrt.exe is, rename it lvrt.ini and inside change [labview.exe] to [lvrt.exe].
Hope this helps
