Hello,
I am new to LabVIEW. I am using a labview program written by previous member of our group to do Resistance vs Magnetic field measurement. I have noticed that as I run the program, the filter status of the Keithley 2182A nanovoltmeter goes off although I turn it on manually beforehand. My data is very noisy because of that. Is there a way to turn the filter status on within the program while taking the measurements?

Most likely! I haven't looked through the drivers for that instrument, but most drivers have some "configuration" VIs. You can look for the VI Tree for a convenient view of all of the functions that you have access to. Do you know where the drivers are? Often they are put into the instr.lib folder under the LabVIEW installation.
