Change clock rate of HWS waveform

I'm generating waveforms using an HWS file on a PXI-6541 (using LabView 8.2).  I'd like to be able to pause the waveform, change the Sample clock rate, then resume.  Is that possible?  I currently abort the waveform, change Sample Clock Rate, then re-initiate, but I lose my position in the waveform by having to start over.
