Hi Muks,
Thanks for your vi oh.vi. Unfortunately I cannot open because it is saved as Labview 8. I use only Labview 7 Express. Could you please save as Labview 7 file please.

Muks,
The version saved in 7.1 won't open either. It will need to be saved in 7.0. If you cannot save it in 7.0 then you could try sending it as a screen shot.
Thanks,
Nevica

Hi nevica, can you please answer these questions?
So can you please clear out the required functionality of the code:
Succesive use of the three gauges or not?
Use of only one gauge at the time or not?
Always multiple readings until the "Stop" button is pressed or not?
Once we know your requirements, we can proceede with a correct code
Some additional questions 🙂
1) Now you initialize the instrument before every reading followed by a delay of 0.3 sec. Is this necessary?
I don't think so, so you should have a loop inside each case structure for consecutive readings without initialising.
2) Why do you need the 400ms delay?

Hello Muks,
I am sorry to be such a pain. I cannot quite see what the structure outside of the case structure does. I presume that the case-structure is repeated three times? I am getting lost with the wiring as it is a bit jumbled.
I pressume oh.vi tests which buttons are pressed (outside of the case structure) then I get lost with the wiring.
Nevica.

Hello Alain,
Yes, the time delays are important. The instrument can only acquire data every 300 - 400 ms.
The time delays are safety nets to ensure that instrument works properly.
