Cannot open VI

Hello,

I'm trying to open a .VI file with LabVIEW 8.0 but Open fails with error message:

LabVIEW: VI is not loadable.

In a built application, this might be because the VI being loaded:

- was last compiled for a different OS, in which case you need to save the VI on the current platform.

- is a polymorphic VI, which can not be loaded in

An error occurred loading VI 'scan_xyz_from_file.vi'.

LabVIEW load error code 15: Could not load default data.

Same result if I try to load it as a SubVI from another VI. 

Any ideas what's going wrong? VI was working properly till last week. Maybe Windows corrupted the file content? Can somebody take a look at the attached VI?

I am having 8.0 and tried opening and got the same error

Do you have a backup? Did you install any thing new during the last week?

no, have no backup and no new installs but system was updated continuously.

so you learned today (the hard way) to make backups of your data on a regular basis

Corruption of VIs may happen and it's not always LabVIEW's fault. Making backups saves you a lot of time when it happens...
