Thank you for contacting National Instruments. The IMAQ ReadFile VI is actually part of our Vision for LabVIEW software, so it sounds like either this software is not installed on your computer or that you have not added the necessary support so that those VIs appear in LabVIEW. This can typically happen if had Vision installed on you computer before you install LabVIEW 7.1. To correct this problem you will simply need to go into Add/Remove Programs and modify the installation of Vision to add support for the latest version of LabVIEW.
